There is more and more evidence that using videos can help improve our teaching! This article, Seeing Is More Than Believing, goes through how one district uses video to help improve teachers' practices.

The district discussed in the previous article uses a video observation protocol called Edthena. The goal of Edthena is to help teachers analyze teaching using classroom video and online collaboration.

Finally, check out the Measures of Effective Teaching Extension (METX) Videos. These videos are a collection of classroom footage and scanned lesson artifacts. The videos have been tagged by Common Core State Standards and include an arrangement of lesson plans, worksheets and handouts, and homework assignments. To access these resources, follow this link: https://tle.soe.umich.edu/Account/Login?ref=%2F

How do you think you might use video in your classroom? Have you tried anything that has been effective? What would you like more information on?
